Centroartesano is a leading arts & crafts store on the outskirts of Madrid. The store features a challenging and high maintenance 20000 product catalog and is managed by Shopify. Centroartesano was using a custom solution by a local software solution company. Their system wasn’t cloud-based and their backend was only accessible by their developers.
Shopify was a great solution. Fast support, easily managed CMS, great marketing tools, seamless app integrations, and robust POS solution. A marketing strategy followed after the implementation. We used organic methods, Paid ads, remarketing techniques and email marketing.

New cloud systems in place
It was clear that a new solution was needed. Centroartesano was not able to compete with other webs in the market with their obsolete CMS provided by the old solution company. Their software was not transparent and was only accessible from the main server. Having a marketing in-house team is expensive. Implementing Shopify was one great solution to many problems.

Point Of Sale Solution
As we use Shopify for the online store, Centroartesano needed a POS solution for the physical store that synced with our inventory (managing two inventories for a 20k product store is not an option). Shopify POS was a great alternative, especially with their newly upgraded POS pro with a new dashboard with direct shortcuts to specific heavy used tasks.

Inventory Management
Still, Shopify lacked a powerful inventory management solution that met the business needs. After long research, we were able to find a solution. Stocky, recently bought by Shopify, offers great integration with the whole system and delivers a wide range of services: Purchase orders, supplier management, ABC analysis, Forecast, and much more.

Email marketing
Email marketing is a great cheap way of connecting with the audience. We send a weekly email with updates, deals, and news. The returns are great. Klaviyo is a very powerful tool that sends laser targeted information to niche segmented audiences. In order to capture leads, we implemented a wheel of fortune pop-up game that awards participants with a discount in exchange for the email address.
